Original Art signed: "E. T.", 8x5. Captioned in his hand "A dead tree/in the winter - in Texas". American Country-Western singer/songwriter Ernest Tubb (1914-1984) made his radio debut on San Antonio, Texas radio station KONO in 1934 and joined the Grand Ole Opry on WSM in Nashville nine years later. He toured regularly with his band, the Texas Troubadours. He wrote his biggest song, "Walking the Floor Over You", in 1943, and Tubb released nearly 200 singles up until 1981, one of his last being "Walk Across Texas". Multiple folds. Light surface creases. Pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
