Autograph Document Unsigned, 5½x3½. Written in an unknown hand: “Recently Competant Lover/ (Globe Theatre)/ Film: (Invasion Quartett/M.G.M./T.V. Episode I Inspector Episode 4,5,6, of Biggles [final word difficult to decipher]”. Ernst Ulman (1914-1977) was an actor known for the many stage productions in which he appeared, including Schirmer Inheritance, Ladies in Ermine, and Vanity Fair. He also notably acted in Graham Greene's play, The Complaisant Lover, at the Globe Theatre in London. In addition, Ulman was a frequent guest star on an impressive number of TV series. A few of the shows on which he landed roles are as follows: Glencannon (1959), Espionage (1963), and Secret Agent (1965). He furthermore had minor roles in a number of movies including Hotel Reserve (1944), Dual Alibi (1947), and Invasion Quartet (1961). Toned. Staining throughout, most of which is concentrated at center. Corners and edges gently worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
