Un-dated program for a production of the play Sugar and Spice at St Martin's Theatre
(London). Esther Revnell (1896-1978), over six feet tall,formed a comedy pantomime team
with under five-foot Gracie West, known together as The Long and the Short of It. While
appearing in stage and music hall productions, Revnell and West appeared together in four
films, beginning with Father O'Flynn (1935). West retired in 1953, but Revnell continued to
perform solo pantomime roles. Hole punch at top left corner. One vertical fold. Lightly worn.
