1920s, she was a major star on the London stage. She made her Broadway debut in
Noel Coward's Bitter Sweet (1929). She co-starred with Frank Lawton,
her second husband, in several stage productions and in the TV sitcom My
Husband and I (1956). Laye was awarded an OBE in 1973, and continued
acting into her nineties. Bowed. Edges toned. Fine condition.
