The defense attorney signs a 5x3 card in blue ink.
Signature: "F. Lee Bailey" in blue ink, 5x3 card. With a 1x1¼ inch black and white newspaper photograph of Bailey affixed at top left (2 surfaces). Legendary defense attorney F. Lee Bailey (b. 1933) is one of the best-known and most controversial figures in the practice of law. He has been involved with many of the most high profile trials in America, best known for representing clients O.J. Simpson (he was part of the "Dream Team"), Albert DeSalvo (The Boston Strangler), Dr. Sam Sheppard (story inspired The Fugitive), Patty Hearst and Captain Ernest Medina (My Lai massacre). He has also had a number of visible defeats, legal controversies, and personal trouble with the law, and was disbarred in Massachusetts and Florida for misconduct while defending his client Claude DuBoc. Bailey was found guilty of seven counts of attorney misconduct by the Florida Supreme Court after he had transferred a large portion of DuBoc's assets into his own accounts, using the interest gained on those assets to pay for personal expenses.Toned at edges. Slightly worn at edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
