Autograph Letter signed: "FB", 5½x3¼ postcard. Norwalk, Connecticut, 1955 February 18. Addressed in her hand on a personalized postcard to J. A. Fischbach, Phoenix, Arizona. In full: "Not a cold. Very bad virus. I am still not well. I didn't see Kilgallen's col. - so have no idea what it is about. I have 2 important trips coming up but one is for a member of the family (2 days), another a charity tour (a week). But meantime my younger daughter is very ill in Colorado so everything may change. Best to you and yours". American author Faith Baldwin (1893-1978)wrote more than 85 books, including over 60 novels, mostly light fiction for female audiences. Her popularity peaked during the Depression, when many of her works appeared in serial and movie form. Many of her books remain in print today. Toned. Corners lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
