In the 1960s and early 1970s, over 40 of his recordings charted, including "Another", "Anymore", "Three Hearts in a Tangle" and "Second-Hand Rose". Drusky, who also released a dozens of albums, turned to country gospel in the 1990s. He had made his film debut in 1965's Forty-Acre Feud and appeared in two films in 1966.
