on Broadway, including appearances in A Man For All Seasons and After
the Fall. She achieved stardom with her Oscar-nominated film performance
in Bonnie and Clyde (1967). Nominated again for Chinatown (1974),
she finally earned a Best Actress Oscar for Network (1976). In 1981,
she portrayed Evita Peron on television and Joan Crawford on the large screen
(Mommie Dearest). Other prominent Dunaway performances include The
Thomas Crown Affair (1968) - with an appearance in that film's remake (1999)
- Three Days of the Condor (1975) and Barfly (1987). Fine
