In Abel Ferrara's Fear City (1984), a serial killer is on the loose, prowling the Manhattan streets for nightclub dancers. Starring Billy Dee Williams and Tom Berenger, nightclub owner Nicky Parenzo (Scalia) and his right-hand man Frank (Santos) want to save their moneymaking girls and catch New York City's most dangerous killer before he reaches his next victim. American film and television actor, JOE SANTOS (1931-2016), born Joseph Minieri, began his career in the mid-1960s and is perhaps best recognized for his role a Dennis Becker in The Rockford Files (1970s), a role he reprised for several made-for-TV movies. He also played a cop, Lt. Frank Harper, in the 1980s TV series Hardcastle and McCormick, and he had a recurring role in the HBO series The Sopranos, and has guest starred on many other shows such as Police Story, Hill Street Blues, Magnum PI, and NYPD Blue. His feature films include Shaft's Big Score! (1972), Blue Thunder (1983), and The Last Boy Scout (1991). Stage, screen, and television actor JACK SCALIA (b. 1951) was an All-American athlete (he was signed to the Montreal Expos in 1971) and model (first with Armani and then as the "Jordache Jeans Man") before making his acting debut in the made-for-TV movie, The Star Maker, in 1981. He went on to appear in several additional TV films and hadregular roles in 11 TV series: The Devlin Connection (1982), High Performance (1983), Hollywood Beat (1985), Dallas (1987-1988, 1991), Berrenger's (1985), Wolf (1989-1990), Stuntmasters (1991), Tequila and Bonetti (1992 and an Italian version in 2000), Pointman (1995) and All My Children (Chris Stamp, 2001-2003). Scalia has also madeseveral feature films, including Fear City (1984), Illicit Behavior (1992), The Silencers (1996), Hell Mountain (1998), Ground Zero (2000) and Red Eye (2005).
