FELICIA SANDERS
The big band singer hand writes a note on a 3x5 card, in blue ink
Autograph Note Signed: "To Janet/Fondly,/Felicia Sanders", 3¼x6 card. Felicia Sanders (1922-1975) was a radio and big band singer of the 1940s who stopped performing when she married, but made a comeback in the 1950s. She had a #1 hit in 1953, "The Song from Moulin Rouge," recorded with Percy Faith's Orchestra. During a long run at the Blue Angel nightclub in New York, she was the first to sing (but not the first to record) "Fly Me to the Moon." She made several TV appearances, including the shows of Ed Sullivan, Johnny Carson, Jack Paar and David Frost. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
