In the original 1958 stage production of John Osborne's The Entertainer, JOAN PLOWRIGHT (b. 1929) co-starred with Sir Laurence Olivier, whom she would marry in 1961, a union that lasted until Olivier's death in 1989. She appeared on screen with her husband in the film versions of The Entertainer (1960) and The Three Sisters (1970). Plowright was nominated for an Oscar for her work in 1992's Enchanted April and has also appeared in Avalon (1990), Dennis the Menace (1993), Last Action Hero (1993) and Tea with Mussolini (1999). Prominent for his roles in Laurence Olivier productions, British actor FRANK FINLAY (1926-2016) has an expansive acting career, covering 50 plus years. Originally pursuing a career as a butcher, Finlay made the switch to acting sometime after obtaining his diploma for the trade, eventually graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He performed in many British stage productions, but is more popularly known for his work in television and film, especially in the trio of Three Musketeers films by Richard Lester. Other notable appearances include How Do You Want Me? (1998), The Sins (2000), Life Force (1985), and the The Pianist (2002). PIERRE EPSTEIN (b. 1930) is a French actor, with 30 plus film/television credits and 15 Broadway credits. His list of film and television credits is rather small, with many of his appearances being minor credits in television series. His Broadway credits are much more substantial, including plays such as Mandingo (1961), Black Comedy/White Lies (1967), and Filumena (1980). PETER IACANGELO (b. 1948) is an actor more known for his television roles, appearing in minor roles in various shows such as Hill Street Blues (1982), Cheers (1984), Murphy Brown (1991), and In The House (1997). Also signed by STEPHEN SCHNETZER (b. 1948) and MIRIAM PHILLIPS (1899-1997). Lightly toned. Corners and edges lightly worn. Fine condition.
