as Isaac Barr, a San Francisco psychiatrist whose alluring patient Diana Baylor
(Uma Thurman) is being treated for traumatic memories. In order to find out more
about her trauma, Diana suggests that Isaac speak to her sister and question her
about what went on between them in the past. But when Isaac sets eyes on Diana's
sister Heather (Kim Basinger), they become involved in a torrid and steamy sex
affair. Unfortunately, Heather is married to psychotic sadist Jimmy Evans (Eric
Roberts). RICHARD GERE (b. 1949) began a film career that includes such
highlights as Days of Heaven (1978), An Officer and a Gentleman
(1982), Cotton Club (1984), Pretty Woman (1990), Primal
Fear (1996) and the musical Chicago (2002). His performance as
Chicago trial lawyer Billy Flynn in Chicago earned him Golden Globe and
Screen Actors Guild awards. After several TV movies, KIM BASINGER (b.
1953) moved to the big screen in such films as The Natural (1984),
9½ Weeks (1986) and Batman (1989). She earned the both the
Academy and Golden Globe awards as Best Supporting Actress for L.A.
Confidential (1997). An active environmentalist, Basinger portrayed
wildlife preservationist Kuki Gallman in I Dreamed of Africa (1999). Fine
