In full: "A million thanks for the beautiful wreath. What a lovely thing for you to do-we loved
seeing Cy on the football evening. What a great relaxed evening that was for us-Cy and Reds are
quite a combination! We don't see enough of you two! Have a Merry Christmas and a
healthy-happy-prosperous New Year- Affectionately & gratefully." Light show-through of

LAUGHTER (pronounced Law-ter) was a Dayton, Ohio industrialist and philanthropist who
had organized the Bogie Busters Golf Tournament in 1967. The annual tournament brought
top entertainment, sports and political stars into Dayton. Barbara Bush (1925-2018), with
her sensible, down-to earth manner was an enormously popular First Lady. In addition to
her many duties, she crusaded against illiteracy and supported programs to help the
homeless and fight drug abuse. The first woman since Abigail Adams to be wife of one
President and mother of another, she is the only First Lady to witness her son's presidential
inauguration. Two items.
