VIGODA (1921-2016), who has proven to be equally adept in both dramatic and comedic
roles, is best known for playing Sergeant Phil Fish on Barney Miller (1974-1982) and
short-lived spinoff series Fish (1977-1978). Vigoda, who made his first television appearance
on Suspense in 1949, has since appeared as a guest star on a long list of TV series, from
Mannix (in 1973) to Howard Stern (in 2005). He has also made a number of feature films,
most notably appearing as Sal Tessio in The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather: Part
II (1974). Vigoda reprised this role for a trilogy of Godfather video games released in
2006 and 2007. Still active as an actor into his nineties, Vigoda appeared in Sweet Destiny
(2014) and an episode of High School USA! (in 2013). Until 1987, Vigoda could be seen
intermittently on a Broadway stage. His last theatrical performance on one of those New York
City stages was in a revival of Arsenic and Old Lace (1986-1987). For his role as Phil Fish in
Barney Miller, Vigoda was nominated for three straight Primetime Emmys from 1976 to
1978. FLORENCE STANLEY (1924-2003) was best known to a wide audience for her
comic roles on television, especially the wife of Detective Fish on Barney Miller and Fish,
beginning in 1975. She played guest appearances on many sitcoms, including Golden Girls
and Night Court. However, theater critics recognized her talent for tragedy, as in her much
praised role as Clymnestra in the New York Shakespeare Festival performance of Electra
(1964). Mike Nichols cast her in several of his plays and films, beginning with The Prisoner
of Second Avenue (1971). BARRY GORDON (b. 1948) is an American film, television and
voice actor and political talk show host and producer. As a child star, Gordon appeared on The
Jack Benny Program, The Danny Thomas Show, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Star Time
with Benny Goodman. On Broadway he played Nick in Herb Gardner's "A Thousand
Clowns", a role that earned him a Tony Award nomination. In the 1970s, Gordon
appeared in the Barney Miller spin-off Fish, and had notable guest-starring roles on Star
Trek: Deep Space Nine, and on Star Trek: Voyager. More recently Gordon has appeared as
the Rabbi in Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm He was the longest-serving president of
the Screen Actors Guild, having served from 1988 to 1995. TODD BRIDGES (b. 1965) is
an American actor best known for his childhood role as Willis Jackson on the sitcom
Diff'rent Strokes. Bridges also appeared on The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie, and
had a role in the landmark miniseries Roots. He was a regular on the Barney Miller spinoff
Fish. In 2008,Bridges published a book, Killing Willis: From Diff'rent Strokes to the
Mean Streets to the Life I Always Wanted, discussing his childhood sexual abuse, drug
addiction, criminal charges, and efforts to establish a public identity independent of the
character, "Willis," he portrayed. DENISE MILLER (b. 1963) is an American actress noted
for her appearances in the television sit-coms Archie Bunker's Place and Fish, as well as
the made-for-television movie Sooner or Later. Miller can also be seen in episodes of
Charles in Charge and Barney Miller; she also played Tina Manucci on the 1970s sitcom
