Showbill signed: "Ann Reinking", "Ben Vereen", 63 pages, 5¼x8½. Playbill for a production of Fosse at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York. ANN REINKING, born in Seattle, Washington in 1949, is a Tony Award-winning American dancer, choreographer and actress. Reinking got her start in theatre; she debuted on Broadway in the ensemble of Coco (1969-1970). She broke into TV with an appearance on Ellery Queen in 1976 and into movies in Movie Movie (1978). Her memorable movie roles include Kate Jagger in All That Jazz (1979), as Grace Farrell in Annie (1982) and as Micki Salinger in Micki + Maude (1984), her last movie role as of this biography. Reinking is better known for her stage work. She's performed in, choreographed and directed a total of 14 other Broadway productions, earning a Tony Award for Best Choreography for the 1996 revival of Chicago. She was also choreographer for the revue Fosse (1999-2001) - an interesting crew choice, as she and Bob Fosse had lived together for many years. In 1969, 22-year-old BEN VEREEN (1946_ joined the cast of Hair and eventually played Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, a role that earned him the Theatre World Award. He went on to perform in Pippin, earning the 1973 Tony Award for Best Actor (Musical). Vereen's film credits include Funny Lady and All That Jazz. He played the memorable character of Chicken George in the TV miniseries Roots (1977). He replaced Joel Grey as the Wizard of Oz in the hit Broadway musical Wicked (2005). Fine condition.
