FRANCES RICH (1910-2007) was an American actress and sculptor who appeared in six films in the early 1930s, Unholy Love (1932), The Thirteenth Guest (1932), Officer Thirteen (1932), The Diamond Trail (1933), Zoo in Budapest (1933) and Pilgrimage (1933). Rich made an appearance on Broadway in Brief Moment (1931). After attending college, Rich became an accomplished sculptor and artist, mostly doing busts of celebrities such as Lotte Lehmann, Margaret Sanger, Diego Rivera and Katharine Hepburn. From the album collection of child actor BILLY SEAY (1922-2012), who appeared in many films throughout the decade including The Greater Glory (1926), My Man (1928), and The Marriage Playground (1929). Seay would leave Hollywood in the early 1930s to become a noted artist and illustrator. Toned and slightly soiled. Corners rounded. Light surface creases. Binding holes in left margin. Otherwise, fine condition.
