Character actor Frank Albertson (1909-1964) played bit parts in silent, working his way into prominent roles in the early 1930s' (A Connecticut Yankee, Just Imagine). Later he proved a versatile character actor on films and television. Among his memorable parts were the playwright bewildered by the Marx Brothers in Room Service (1938), the businessman who loses Donna Reed to Jimmy Stewart in It's a Wonderful Life (1946), the obnoxious millionaire whose money is stolen by Janet Leigh in Psycho (1960) and the flustered town mayor in Bye, Bye Birdie (1963). Lightly worn. Signature in poor contrast (still legible). Otherwise, fine condition.
