The information inside includes the rosters of the Red Sox Old Timers and the Equitable Old Timers along with the players career statistics. Malzone, (1930-2015) was a third baseman who played in the majors for from 1955 to 1966, mostly with the Boston Red Sox. An eight-time All-Star and three-time Golden Glove, he was the first third baseman to receive a Golden Glove when the prize was started in 1957. Malzone placed in the top 10 in the American League for runs twice, for hits, doubles and RBIs four times and for total bases thrice. He has a career batting average of .274 with 133 home runs, 728 RBIs and 1,486 hits. He has eight seasons with 100 or more hits, one season (1962) with 20 or more home runs and one season (1957) with 100 or more RBIs. On defense, he had career totals of 1,308 putouts, 2,884 assists and 289 double plays, and in 1957 he tied an American League record by recording 10 assists in one game. Fine condition.
