Autograph letter signed: “Frank Marth” in blue ink. 8½x4½. In full: “William, Thank you for
your kind note- to answer your question the start of my most exciting moment began when I got
my first show- one line comprising of 3 words 'I'm here- present' playing a fireman in a theatre- I
think the show 'TV Show' starred Boris Karloff- about 1958- in N.Y. I think it was on the air for
about 3 or 4 months. Thank you- again”. Frank Marth (1922-2014) was an American film and
television actor. He may be best known as a cast-member of Cavalcade of Stars (1949;
1950-1957), especially segments of The Honeymooners, which later became a television series
(1955-1956). He appeared,often in tandem with the short, dark-haired George O. Petrie,
playing various recurring and one-time roles on The Honeymooners. Marth later appeared
in two episodes of Perry Mason, as well as in episodes of Hogan's Heroes, The Six Million
Dollar Man, and M*A*S*H. Edges irregular. Left edge creased. Ink note (unknown hand) near
greeting. Otherwise, fine condition.
