Frank Strong Lary (1930-2017) played for the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, Milwaukee Braves, and the Chicago White Sox between 1954 and 1965. Picked up as an amateur free agent in 1954, Lary became a 3-time All-Star and Gold Glove Winner (1961).Nicknamed "The Yankee Killer", Lary earned his alias by going 27-10 against the Yankees from 1955 to 1961 as a Tiger.
