FRANKIE LAINE
A black and white photograph of the singer in concert, wearing a black suit
Inscribed photograph signed: "To/Gene/Best luck/Frankie/Laine", in blue ink, B/w 8x10. The vocal repertoire of Frankie Laine (1913-2007), born Frank LoVecchio, was diverse: pop, jazz standards, country/western and devotional. His U.S. popularity was at its peak in the 1950s, when he recorded such hits as "Mule Train", "Hey, Good Lookin'", "I Believe" and the theme for the classic Western, High Noon. Laine remained popular in Europe much longer, touring there with much success. Left edge lightly worn. Corners lightly worn. Lightly bowed. Otherwise, fine condition.
