charted in the US, pop singer Frankie Vaughan (1928-1999) was a major
star in England, called "Mr. Moonlight", after one of his biggest hits
(1955). A singer and dancer in variety shows from the late 1940s, he recorded
more than 80 singles, and was named Britain's Show Business Performer of the
Year in 1962. He appeared in a few films, including a major role in Marilyn
Monroe's Let's Make Love (1960). His last role was in a Drury Lane
production of 42nd Street (1985-1986). He was honored with a CBE in
1996. Corners worn and creased. Small tear on left edge. Ink slightly faded,
but legible. Surface creases. Slightly soiled on corners. Otherwise, fine
condition.
