Biography signed: "Franklin E. Cover", 2 pages, 8½x11. Beverly Hills, California, no date. A veteran of many TV drama and sitcom guest appearances, as well as Broadway and Shakespearean roles, Franklin Cover (1928-2006) played Tom Willis, the husband in American TV's first inter-racial marriage, on The Jeffersons (1975-1985). Cover's Broadway career began in 1960 when he was cast as Sir Walter Blunt in a revival of Henry IV, Part I. That same year, Cover appeared in two more Broadway productions: Henry IV, Part II and She Stoops to Conquer. Over the next decade, he found roles in an impressive twelve more Broadway productions. During this period, Cover also made his onscreen debut, when he was cast as a steelworker in the late 1950s - early 1960s crime drama Naked City. While having thirty-four onscreen titles to his name, Franklin Cover has not appeared on the screen since his 1999 role in Will & Grace. Corners lightly creased. Minor tear at left edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
