Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Roberta/At Ease!/Fred Clark". B/w, 8x10. Clark
portrayed a callous movie producer in Sunset Boulevard in 1950. In 1951, he was cast as
Harry Morton, the next door neighbor on television's Burns and Allen Show. In 1953, when
Clark asked for a larger salary, George Burns on the air announced that he was being replaced
by Larry Keating because he wanted a raise. In this photograph, Clark is pictured as General
O'Connell in MGM's 1959 comedy It Started with a Kiss. Pencil notes (unknown hand)
on verso.
