Fred Clark (1914-1968) was an American actor who had many popular roles including portraying a callous movie producer in Sunset Boulevard in 1950. In 1951, he was cast as Harry Morton, the next door neighbor on television's Burns and Allen Show. In 1953, when Clark asked for a larger salary, George Burns on the air announced that he was being replaced by Larry Keating because he wanted a raise. Clark appeared in many television shows during the 1960s including The Addams Family (1965), The Beverly Hillbillies (in which he played Dr. Clyburn for four years), and I Dream of Jeanie (1967).
