Inscribed photograph signed: "To Clint/ Fred Scott" in black
ink. Color, 4x6. Former vaudeville entertainer and opera singer Scott
(1902-1992), who had appeared in some Mack Sennett comedies of the silent
film era, gained popularity as "the Silvery-Voiced Buckaroo" in low-budget
Western movies of the 1930s. His highest rated films at All-Movie guide were
The Roaming Cowboy, The Rangers' Roundup and Knight of the
Plains, all from the late 1930s. Ink notes on verso in unknown hand. Fine
condition.
