Document signed: "Fredric March". Black ink and lead pencil notations in unknown hand in bottom right corner. 1 page, 8½x11. Dec. 5, 1955. Addressed to the Cashier's Office at 20th Century-Fox Film Corp., Los Angeles, California. March signed this document to have 20th Century-Fox send his checks and other money owed to him to the Jaffe Agency in Hollywood, California. In 1955, March starred in the Paramount Pictures film The Desperate Hours. Stage, screen and occasional television actor Frederic March (1897-197), born Frederick Ernest McIntyre Bickel in Racine, Wisconsin, won the Academy Award for Best Actor for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931-1932) and The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), and he was also nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for The Royal Family of Broadway (1930-1931), A Star is Born (1937) and Death of a Salesman (1951). March, whose other films include The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1934), Les Misérables (1935), Inherit the Wind (1960) and Seven Days in May (1964), also wonBest Actor Tony Awards for Years Ago (1947) and Long Day's Journey Into Night (1957). Lightly toned and creased. Folded thrice and unfolded. Otherwise, fine condition.
