Honoring the 50th anniversary of the first U.K. jet flight, postmarked 50th Anniversary of First U.K. Jet Flight, Cranwell, May 15, 1971. Ernst Heinkel was the German airplane builder whose bombers were widely used in World War II. Nitschke was his personal pilot. With four unsigned b/w photographs of all three plus one of them with a bomber plane. Biographies of the pilots, in German, printed on back of envelope. Fine condition.
