FROM NOON TILL THREE: CHARLES BRONSON and JILL IRELAND Bronson dances on screen with his off-screen wife Printed Photograph Signed in Ink: "Charles/Bronson", "Jill Ireland/Good/wishes". B/w, 8x10. Movie still from From Noon Till Three. © 1976 United Artists. In this film, Bronson plays a minor gunfighter who has a brief fling with Ireland. After he is reported dead, she hypes his memory into a legend. BRONSON (1920-2003) made his film debut in You're in the Navy Now. He soon earned a reputation for rugged, tough-guy characters, making the most of his unconventional features. It wasn't until 1960 and the role of Bernardo, one of the The Magnificent Seven, that Bronson's career took off. Subsequent roles in The Great Escape in 1963 and The Dirty Dozen in 1967 solidified his status. He reached star status as the popular vigilante in the Death Wish series (1974-1985). In 1957, IRELAND (1936-1990) married actor David McCallum, with whom she would later appear in several Man From UNCLE TV episodes. Her second husband was action star Charles Bronson, whom she married in 1967. From 1970 onward, Ireland seldom appeared onscreen without her husband; their best collaborative efforts include Hard Times (1975) and From Noon Til Three. Bronson signature smudged and light. Otherwise, fine condition.
