spans six decades of football history. Hall of Famer GALE SAYERS played seven seasons
with the Chicago Bears and accumulated career statistics of 9,435 combined net yards, 4,956
yards rushing, and 336 points scored. BOBBY BELL played defense for the Kansas City
Chiefs from 1963 to 1974, Bell's jersey number 78 has been retired by the Chiefs and he was
inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1983. FRED BILETNIKOFF starred as a
wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders from 1965 until 1978 and later coached with the Raiders
for another 18 seasons. Biletnikoff, enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame since 1988,
was MVP of the Raider's victory over Minnesota in Super Bowl XI. DWIGHT CLARK
(1957-2018) was a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers from 1979 to 1987. He retired
with 506 catches for 6,750 total yards and 48 touchdowns and his jersey number 87 has been
retired by the 49ers. BOB COSTAS took over hosting duties of the NBC program Football
Night in America in 1996. LEN DAWSON entered the NFL in 1957, but is best remembered
as the quarterback of the AFL/AFC Kansas City Chiefs (1963-1975). A 3-time AFL
Champion, he was the MVP of the Chiefs' winning effort in Super Bowl IV. He entered the
Hall of Fame in 1987. Pro Football Hall of Famer MIKE DITKA was NFL Rookie of Year
in 1961 and a five-time Pro Bowl tight end. As head coach of the Chicago Bears, he led the
team to a victory in Super Bowl XX, he also coached the New Orleans Saints from 1997 to
1999. CONRAD DOBLER was an offensive lineman and 3-time Pro Bowler for the St.
Louis Cardinals from 1972-1977. The 1976 Heisman Trophy winner and Dallas Cowboy
TONY DORSETT, was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1977. His career
totals include 16,326 combined net yards and 90 touchdowns. He was inducted into the
Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994. Hall of Famer CARL ELLER played for the Minnesota
Vikings from 1964 to 1978. He is a six-time Pro Bowler and four-time NFC Conference
Champion. Tight End MARV FLEMING played in Super Bowl's I, II, VI, VII and VIII
with the Packers and then the Dolphins during his 12 season NFL career. The 1973 NFL
Offensive Rookie of the Year CHUCK FOREMAN was a five-time Pro-Bowler who
played in three Super Bowls with the Vikings. Foreman ended his career with 76 touchdowns,
5,950 rushing yards and 3,156 receiving yards. American sportscaster JIM GRAY has
worked for CBS, NBC and ABC covering sports and other news stories and provided
commentary during the 2008 Summer Olympics. Steelers defensive tackle from 1968 to
1981 and Hall of Famer "Mean" JOE GREENE was the 1969 NFL Defensive Rookie of
the Year, Defensive Player of the Year in 1972 and 1974 and a member of the NFL's
1970s All-Decade Team. During his career with Pittsburgh, the team produced four AFC
titles and four Super Bowl victories. Linebacker SHERRILL HEADRICK (1937-2008)
starred in the AFL for the Dallas Texans and the Kansas City Chiefs and was selected
to four Pro-Bowls. Linebacker THOMAS "HOLLYWOOD" HENDERSON played
with the Dallas Cowboys from 1975 to 1979, appearing in three Super Bowls with the team.
Fullback DARYL JOHNSTON played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 to 1999.
During his career he was selected to two Pro Bowls and played in three victorious Super Bowls
(XXVII, XXVIII and XXX). ED "TOO TALL" JONES was a three-time Pro Bowler
who played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1974 to 1989. He was part of the team's
Doomday Defense squad of the 1970s and had a career total of 57.5 sacks. Hall of Famer
LEROY KELLY played for the Cleveland Browns from 1964-1973 where he was a six
time Pro-Bowler and winner of the 1967 and 1968 Rushing Title. His career statistics
include 7,274 rushing yards for 74 touchdowns and an average of 4.2 yards per rush. In 11
seasons in Buffalo (1986-1996), Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback JIM KELLY led
the Bills to the playoffs eight times. In 17 playoff game appearances, including a record four
consecutive Super Bowls (1991-1994), he passed for 3,863 yards and 21 touchdowns. Pro
Football Hall of Famer STEVE LARGENT played for the Seattle Seahawks during his
entire 14 season career. A member of the Seahawks Ring of Honor, he amassed 13,089
receiving yards, 100 touchdowns and averaged 65.4 yards per game during his career. Pro
Football Hall of Famer HOWIE LONG played defense for the Oakland/Los Angeles
Raiders from 1981-1993. He was selected to eight Pro Bowls and accumulated 84 sacks
and one Super Bowl Championship (XVIII) in his career. Defensive end JIM
MARSHALL, a Minnesota Viking for 18 years (1961-1979), recovered 30 fumbles in his
career. He is a member of the Minnesota Vikings Ring of Honor and his jersey number
70 has been retired by the team. In 2004 he was a finalist to be inducted into the Pro
Football Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame wide receiver DON MAYNARD, the first signee of
the 1960 AFL Titans, caught a career-high 72 passes during his first season. Maynard, who
played in three AFL All-Star games, later teamed with Joe Namath on the New York Jets
to form a dynamic pass-catch duo. During his career, Maynard racked up 633 receptions
for 11,834 yards and 88 touchdowns. EUGENE "MERCURY" MORRIS was a running
back for the Miami Dolphins from 1969 to 1975. He was selected for three Pro Bowls and
helped take the Dolphins to two Super Bowl victories (VII and VIII). Wide receiver
ANDRE REED played for the Buffalo Bills from 1985 to 1999. He was selected to seven
consecutive Pro Bowls and appeared in four consecutive Super Bowls. With 13,198
receiving yards and 88 touchdowns for his career, Reed has been a finalist for induction into
the Hall of Fame every year from 2007 to 2010. Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame defensive
back MEL RENFRO was selected for the Pro Bowl in each of his first ten seasons. He
helped take Dallas to Super Bowl V, VI, X and XII, winning VI and XII. Hall of Fame
offensive tackle JACKIE SLATER played for the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams from 1976
until 1995. He was selected to seven Pro Bowls, won the Bart Starr Man of the Year
Award in 1995 and is one of only three players to have played a record 20 NFL seasons with
one team. His jersey number 78 has been retired by the Rams. The seventh overall pick in
the 1998 NFL Draft, KYLE TURLEY played in the NFL from 1998 until 2007. The offensive
lineman, drafted by the New Orleans Saints, started all but one game in his five seasons with
New Orleans. TYRONE WHEATLEY is one of the most successful collegiate athletes
to come out of the Metropolitan Detroit area. While at Michigan he was the Big-Ten
Scoring Champion in 1992 and 1993 and the Player of the Game in the 1993 Rose
Bowl. Drafted as the 17th overall pick by the New York Giants in 1995, he played for four
seasons in New York and six seasons with the Oakland Raiders and accumulated 4,962 rushing
yards and 47 touchdowns. Hall of Fame tight end KELLEN WIINSLOW played for the
San Diego Chargers from 1979-1987. A five-time Pro Bowler he caught 541 receptions for
6,741 yards and 45 touchdowns. Kicker NICK LOWERY played with the Kansas City
Chiefs from 1980 to 1993. He retired with an impressive 383 field goals made and scored a
total of 1711 points in his career. Hall of Famer MICHAEL IRVIN played wide receiver
for the Dallas Cowboys from 1988 until 1999. A three-time Super Bowl Champion, he
caught 750 receptions for 11,904 yards and 65 touchdowns in his career. Quarterback
RON "JAWS" JAWORSKI played in the NFL from 1973 until 1989. In the 1980 season,
he led the Philadelphia Eagles all the way to a disappointing loss in Super Bowl XV. He threw
for 28,190 yards and 179 touchdowns in his career. Some signatures lightly smeared.
