The British actor is shown from the chest up in this 4¼x6¼ black and white photograph.
Photograph signed: "Garard Green" in green ink, B/w 4¼x6¼. British actor Garard Green (1924-2004) was born in Madras, India. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, he worked in stage, film, radio and television for over forty years. His best remembered films include The Strange Case of Dr. Manning (1957), The Crawling Eye (1958), The Flesh and the Fiends (1960) and The Zebra Man (1992). A leg injury he sustained while fighting in World War II led Green to focus more on audio acting and he has performed over 3,000 BBC Radio Productions and recorded over 200 audio books for the Royal National Institute of the Blind. Green appeared in numerous television programs including The Three Musketeers (1954), The Vise (1959-1961), The Desperate People (1963), Danger Island (1967) and The Life of Confucius (1998). Ink stamp on verso (no show through). Fine condition.
