GARY HOGEBOOM
The NFL quarterback who played for multiple teams and also was a contestant on Survivor: Guatemala signs his name with a sentiment
Autograph sentiment signed: "Best Wishes!/Gary Hogeboom/Joshua 1:9" in black felt. 3x5. Gary Keith Hogeboom (b. 1958) is a former American football quarterback in the National Football League. Hogeboom reached the spotlight playing for the Dallas Cowboys (1980-1985), Indianapolis Colts (1986-1988), Phoenix Cardinals (1989), and Washington Redskins (1990) after playing college football at the Central Michigan University. He played for ten seasons in a row and passed for 9,346 yards, 49 touchdowns, and 60 interceptions in his career, along with 164 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He was the starting quarterback while playing for the Cowboys, Colts and Cardinals. In 2005, Hogeboom was a contestant on the CBS reality TV show Survivor: Guatemala. He tried to keep his identity secret so that other contestants wouldn't eliminate him based on the fact that he was already wealthy, but many of the cast members knew or found out before he was eliminated off the show. Hogeboom went down in Survivor history as the first person to ever find and play a hidden immunity idol at tribal council. Lightly toned. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
