Lead vocalist for the band Bush shown playing his guitar with an explicit word printed on his T-shirt
Photograph signed: "Gavin". Color, 8x10. Vocalist and songwriter Gavin McGregor Rossdale, born in England in 1965, performed in small pubs in London before his post-grunge rock band, Bush, became a success with the release of their first album, Sixteen Stone, in 1994. Ironically, although the band reached superstardom in the U.S, they found little success on the British charts, except for their No. 7 single, "Swallowed". The band, which toured extensively in the U.S. and released three additional albums, unofficially split in 2002. Two years later, Rossdale formed Institute, whose debut album, Distort Yourself (2005), featured a song used in the film, Stealth. Rossdale, a former model, has not only contributed songs to films, he has also appeared on the big screen in such features as Zoolander (2001), Little Black Book (2004) and Constantine (2005), and Rossdale is a frequent guest on television talk shows. On September 14, 2002, he married Gwen Steffani, the lead vocalist of No Doubt, and the couple welcomed a son, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale on May 26, 2006. Fine condition.
