Autograph letter signed: "Gene Chronopolous". 2 pages, 8½x11. No place, October 17, 1984. To "Dear Mr. Axelrod" In full: "First of all, forgive me for taking so long to answer you. The reasons are many--travel work, new projects etc...None of the reasons, though was do to indifference! Thank you for including me in your collection. I am honored!!! I do not have many photos since I work with composites! I hope you can choose three from the four I have sent. If the non-glossy pictures one not to your satisfaction., please let mw known and I will make glossies of whichever pictures you want. (And I promise that this time I'll be prompt!) Continued success--Thank you again--Sincerely." Actor Gene Chronopolous (b.1933) has earned no less than 11 acting credits in his 35 year career, beginning in 1968 with his appearance in The Legend of Lylah Clare (1968). In the 70's he played in two more movies, one of them The Choirboys (1977) with Charles Durning and Louis Gosset, Jr. Usually casted in supporting or minor roles, Chronopolous made his most recent screen appearance in 2003's Black Ball. Though, movie-goers perhaps remember him most as Timothy Dalton's servant in the 1997 comedy The Beautician and the Beast. Lightly creased. Fine condition.
