Postmarked U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, April 1, 1974, the 20th Anniversary of the United States Air Force Academy. Benjamin Oliver Davis Jr. (1912-2002), the commander of the Tuskegee Airmen during WWII, was the first Black Air Force One-Star General (Brigadier General, 1954). He was awarded his fourth star by President Clinton in 1998. Fine condition.
