George Dougals, 17th Earl of Morton (1789-1858) was a Scottish Tory politician. The grandson of the 14th Earl of Morton, Douglas inherited his peerage after the death of his childless cousin in 1827, and was elected a Scottish Representative Peer in 1828, where he served as a Lord-in-Waiting from 1841-1846, during the second Tory administration of Sir Robert Peel and the first administration on of the Earl of Derby.
