Foreman's signature on the cover of a program for the 91st Annual Dinner of the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association
Program cover signed: "George/Foreman", 52 pages, 8½x11. Official program of the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association annual dinner, 1995 January 23. George Foreman (born in 1949) became world heavyweight boxing champion in 1973 by defeating Joe Frazier, then lost the crown to Muhammad Ali the following year. Amazingly, as a jovial, rotund boxer, Foreman regained the heavyweight title at age 46 (1994) and held it for three years. His often self-mocking commercials for mufflers, grills and food products have heightened his celebrity status. Foreman was enshrined in the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2003. Slightly wear at cover edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
