of Peabody Organization Development, Inc., New York City, New York. Addressed to “Mr.
Robert Penn,/Nebraska Union/Office of Program Manager/Lincoln,/ Nebraska, 68508”.
Written to "Dear Mr. Penn”. In full: “Thanks for your invitation to speak at the March
conference. I can and will accept if:/ a) You can pay expenses and a reasonable fee/ b) I can speak
or work between noon (March 23rd) and noon (March 24th)./ I'd rather lead a group of any size
in working at problems of alienation. Talking doesn't help that much./ How did you gat [sic] my
name? I'm delighted and curious./ Sincerely” George L. Peabody (1921-2010) was an
Episcopalian minister and church leader. Moreover, he functioned as the president of his
own consulting agency: Peabody Organization Development, Inc., located in New York City.
Peabody was also an educational speaker who taught at more than 20 universities and
