Document double signed: "George Seaton" and "G.
S.", 1p, 8½x5½. Hollywood, California, 1955 July 26. 2561Paramount
Pictures Corporation invoice for transportation and two round trip air fares
from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Seaton signs below "Okay for payment", in
response to a typed request for $92.18. He has initialed below a typed response
of "The above should be charged to P. #11517; and this amount should be credited
to my personal account. Ink stamps and initials. Playwright, film director
and producer George Seaton (1911-1979) co-write and directed Miracle on 34th
Street (1947). He was nominated for an Oscar as director of The
Country Girl (1954), and he received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian
Award from the Academy in 1961. Other well-known films directed by
Seaton include Teacher's Pet (1958), The Counterfeit Traitor
(1962) and Airport (1970). Less known is that Seaton was the first
radio voice of The Lone Ranger (under the name George Stenius, 1933).

Fold creases through "Geo" of George and "S" of Seaton. Paper clip impression at
upper left to the left of his typed name. Otherwise, fine condition.
