GEORGE SEGAL - AUTOGRAPHED SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH - HFSID 199295
Price: $160.00
GEORGE SEGAL. Photograph signed: "All Best Wishes/George
Segal". Color, 10x8. Movie still from The Quiller Memorandum,
©1966, 20th Century-Fox Film Corp., a spy saga in which hero Quiller (Segal) is called on by his superior to
infiltrate a Neo-Nazi gang in Berlin after two British agents have been killed
on the same mission. Entering films with 1961's The Young Doctors,
Segal quickly established himself as one of Hollywood's most accomplished
young character actors; in 1967, he received an Oscar nomination for his
portrayal of Nick in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf . When one
compiles a list of favorite films from the late 1960s-early 1970s, one usually
spends a great deal of time exclaiming "Hey! Segal was in that, too." Some of
the highlights of his film career include St. Valentine's Day Massacre
(1967), No Way to Treat a Lady (1968), The Owl and the Pussycat
(1970), Where's Poppa? (1970), A Touch of Class (1973) and Look
Who's Talking (1989). Segal was honored with the 1990 Jewish Cultural
Achievement Award. Slightly grainy image. Light corner creases. Otherwise, fine
condition.
