I am very anxious to get the Neo Cosmospora on that new host, it is a most interesting thing to find it on any other host except cotton and peanuts. Then you get a real good specimen of it on the 'Va. Runner,' save it for me. I have 7 pieces of the Grier Cave stone cut but not polished. I have had visitors here almost every day since you left. Have a group coming from Auburn tommorrow (sic) and about25 of the south's largest business men to visit me Wedns. they represent unlimited millions in the way of Capitol(sic). 'Slip over' when you can. P.S. I shall be happy to receive any fungi you choose to send me."Carver developed over 300 derivative products from peanuts and 118 from sweet potatoes. Letters mentioning his scientific work, such as this one, are extremely desirable. Folds, one between the "a" and "r" in Carver, else fine.
