English actress Georgina Hale (b. 1943) made her professional debut as a stage walk-on at Stratford, and appeared in repertory for a decade before making her West End debut in Chekhov's The Seagull (1975). She received an Olivier nomination for Best Comedy Performance in Steaming (1981). She has made many appearances at Glasgow's Citizens' Theatre. Often appearing in the films of Ken Russell, she received a BAFTA as Most Promising Newcomer for portraying Alma Mahler in his Mahler (1974). She played the younger version of Bette Davis's character in The Watcher in the Woods (1980), accepting the role because she so admired Davis. Her TV career spans 5 decades. She played Ruth Ellis, the last woman hanged in the UK, in Lady Killers, and the villainous title role of T-Bag in the popular children's adventure series. She played Blanche Longford in the long-running British soap Hollyoaks. Fine condition.
