Rare handwritten letter by the Italian opera composer, beautifully framed with an image of Puccini to 22x25½.
Autograph Letter Signed: "G Puccini", 1 page, 5¾x9½. Milan, Italy 1910 January 2. Written to Zorah Dorley, a performer in the Brussels production of Madama Butterfly. In the letter Puccini offers his best wishes for the New Year. Framed with a black and white image of Puccini and a biographic plaque to 22x25½. Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924), the greatest Italian opera composer of his time, is best known for his operas La Bohème, Tosca, and Madama Butterfly. His last opera, Turandot, was uncompleted at his death, but is considered by many to be his finest work. Fine condition. Not framed in Gallery of History Style.
