Giacomo Vaghi (1901-1978) was one of the leading bass voices of his time,
with a powerful voice and broad repertoire. His international career extending
from 1925 to 1956. The leading bass at Rome's Teatro dell'Opera from 1928 to
1939, he made the first of many appearances at the Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires)
in 1937 and at the Metropolitan Opera in 1946. Toned and worn. Silvered at left
edge. Corners lightly creased. Stained at edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
