Broadcasting. The actor/producer played the title role in the film (1979) and
television series (1979-1981), Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
Gerard, who began his career in stage plays in New York, was an extra in the
1970 film Love Story and appeared on the daytime soap, The
Doctors. He formed his own production company, Prudhomme Productions, which
released its first film, Hooch, produced by and starring Gerard, in 1976.
Gerard then appeared on a number of televisions series, including Little
House on the Prairie, Hawaii-Five-O and Baretta, as well as in
a number of made-for-television movies. He also hosted the reality
series, Code 3, which followed the exploits of paramedics, firefighters
and other rescue organizations around the world. Minor printing defects (not
