Signature: "Gil McDougald", 5x3 index card. Yankees' infielder Gil McDougald (born in 1928) joined the team in 1951, batted .306 with 14 HR and became Rookie of the Year. On May 3, he tied a major league record with six RBIs in one inning. McDougald capped the year by becoming the first rookie to hit a grand slam in the World Series (Game Five). A Yankee from 1951-1960, he was a member of eight Yankee pennant-winning teams and ranks among the leaders with 53 World Series games and 190 World Series at-bats. McDougald was an All-Star in 1952 and again from 1956-1959. Fine condition.
