Inscribed photograph signed "Lots O Good/Wishes/to
Peggy/Gilda/Radner" in red ink. B/w, 10x8. Judy Miller was one of Radner's
characters on Saturday Night Live (1975-1980). Radner (1946-1989,
born in Detroit, Michigan) was one of the original cast of NBC's Saturday
Night Live (1975-1980), creating such characters as Emily Litella
("Never mind") and Roseanne Rosannadana. 1979, she moved to Broadway with
Gilda Live, which became a film the following year. Radner's other
film credits include The Last Detail (1973, her film debut), Hanky
Panky (1982), The Woman in Red (1984) and Haunted Honeymoon
(1986, her last film). Her autobiography, It's Always Something, was
published the year Radner died. Her second husband, from 1984 until her death
from cancer in 1989, was fellow actorGene Wilder. Lightly toned, creased
and bowed. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
