Document signed: "Gilda/Radner", 1p, 8½x10¾. Also signed "Evan Galen". No place, no date. Addendum to a Letter Agreement between Radner and Galen dated 1979 January 1. The addendum stipulates that Galen shall secure competitive bids for work all work in excess of $5,000 (amount written in an unknown hand). A sentence stipulating that Radner shall receive all copies of invoices and other documents evidencing all costs has been inked out but not initialed. Emmy-winning Gilda RADNER was one of the original stars of Saturday Night Live. Radner, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris and Laraine Newman formed the Not Ready for Prime Time Players when the show premiered on October 11, 1975. She created memorable characters such as Roseanne ("It's always something") Rosanadanna and Emily ("Never Mind") Litella. She had a one-woman show on Broadway and was married to comic actor Gene Wilder. Radner was 42 when she died of cancer in 1989, the year her autobiography, It's Always Something, was published.
