(1926-2018) joined the Sadler's Wells ballet company during World War II, and performed
her first starring role - Sleeping Beauty at Royal Opera House - on her 20th birthday.
Leaving Sadler's Wells Ballet in 1951, she was an instant success at the London Palladium, and
later starred in West End musicals (Can Can) and film (The Master of Ballantrae
(opposite Errol Flynn, 1953). Perhaps her greatest fame came later, however, as theatrical
choreographer working with Andrew Lloyd Webber on Cats and Phantom of the Opera.
She runs her own production company, Lean Two Productions, and has choreographed
many TV shows, including The Muppets. Corners cropped. Signature lightly beaded, but
legible. Moderate adhesive residue on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
