Letter from Ginger Rogers/MCA Artists, Ltd. to the Screen Actors Guild Inc., forwarding her executed agency contract. Ginger Rogers (1911-1995) was singing and dancing in vaudeville while still in her teens. A major film star of the 1930s and 1940s, she was usually sought for musicals and comedies, but she earned a Best Actress Oscar in the dramatic title role of Kitty Foyle (1940). Rogers is probably best remembered as the dance partner of Fred Astaire, with whom she starred in ten films. Staple holes upper left. Crease and stain at bottom right. Crease at lower left edge.
